Upward Bound Project

The Upward Bound Project is a year-round program for students in grades 9 through 12 administered by and held on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. The program has three major components:

  • Biweekly academic-year distance learning sessions
  • Weekly academic-year tutoring sessions
  • A six-week summer residential academic experience on the IU Bloomington campus

Students are chosen to participate from select high schools in the Bloomington, Gary/East Chicago/Hammond, Indianapolis, and New Albany areas. There is no fee for participation in this program.
