Housing
Application to the Division of Residential Programs and Services (RPS) may be made after March 15, 2009. Questions should be sent to RPS, Assignment Office, 801 N. Short-Term Workshops and Institutes
Housing in university residence halls for activities scheduled outside of the academic calendar, i.e. Intensive Sessions and Summer Sessions, is limited. For information on possible housing options, contact RPS Conferences, 801 N. Jordan Ave., Bloomington, IN 47405, 812/855-2266.
Participants may choose to stay in the Indiana Memorial Union at higher rates. Information and rates may be obtained by contacting: Reservations, Indiana University Union, IU, Bloomington, IN 47405, 812/856-6381.
Intensive Sessions
People enrolled for any of the Intensive Sessions pay daily rates if they stay for the entire session. If the stay is shorter, guests pay a higher rate (to be set later this spring). First Summer Session
Single graduate and undergraduate students enrolled for this session wishing to reside in the residence halls must have on file a regular housing application. There is a $50 application fee. Students must sign a contract for room and board and pay an additional activity fee. Activity fees are set by the student governments and are subject to change.
The contract period is May 11 through June 17. Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on June 18. Contract meals begin with breakfast on May 13 and end with dinner on June 17. Housing will be in Ashton.
Second Summer Session
Single graduate and undergraduate students enrolled for this session must meet the same conditions described above for the First Summer Session. Housing will be available in Ashton.
The contract period is June 18 through August 13. Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on August 14. Contract meals begin with breakfast on June 18 and end with dinner on August 13.
Apartments
A very limited number of university apartments may be available for students with families and single students during Summer Sessions I and II. Unfurnished efficiency, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments may be available. Rates for apartment housing include all utilities and local telephone service. Requests for assignment should be filed as early as possible.
